These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Stewarding Change LLC, doing business as Stewarding Change. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use the service. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Service and acceptable use
Stewarding Change provides personal budgeting and planning tools for your own lawful, non-commercial use. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious content, or use it to violate law or another person's rights.
Educational information only
The service, including tax estimates, budgeting suggestions, reports, and calculations, is provided for general educational and planning purposes. It is not tax, legal, investment, accounting, or financial advice. Tax Planner estimates depend on the information you enter and the tax rules available in the service; they may not reflect every tax rule, change in law, deduction, credit, filing requirement, or personal circumstance. The service does not prepare or file tax returns. You are responsible for your decisions and for reviewing the accuracy of any tax return, and should consult a qualified tax professional for advice or filing specific to your circumstances.
Trials, subscriptions, and cancellation
New accounts receive a 2-month free trial. We do not require a payment method for the trial and will not automatically charge you when it ends. After the trial, the account remains available in read-only mode unless you elect to purchase a paid subscription.
A paid subscription is currently $3.00 per month or $35.00 per year. Payment processing and cancellation are handled through Stripe. You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the Stripe customer portal in app Settings. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and paid access remains available through the current paid period.
Refunds
Payments are nonrefundable except where required by applicable law. See our Refund Policy for details.
Intellectual property
The service, software, content, branding, and related materials are owned by Stewarding Change or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as permitted here; they do not transfer ownership.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stewarding Change will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to applicable law, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. We may update these Terms by posting a new version. When an update is material, current app users must accept the new Terms before continuing to use the application.
