Stewarding Change LLC, doing business as Stewarding Change ("Stewarding Change," "we," "us," or "our"), operates this website and the Stewarding Change application. This Privacy Policy applies to information we process through them.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create or use an account, including your email address, password hash, optional profile information, budget data, accounts, funds, income information, transactions, debt information, tax-planning inputs, and historical CSV imports. If you submit a support request, we also collect the request subject and message content, along with related-request information, the date of occurrence, and the page path associated with the request. We also process account-session information, including session identifiers, timestamps, and, when collected, IP address and browser user-agent information; email-verification and password-reset tokens; subscription status; and identifiers supplied by payment or sign-in providers.
Browser storage
The application may store functional preferences locally in your browser, such as whether a budget's setup guide is shown, expanded, or hidden. To help you continue an unfinished budget setup, it may also store a temporary setup draft locally in your browser. This draft can include your budget name, selected categories and expenses, optional amounts, and intervals. Browser storage remains on your device and is not sent to our servers unless you choose to create the budget. The setup draft expires after 30 days and is deleted when you successfully create the budget or choose to start a new one. You can also remove browser storage by clearing site data in your browser.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, maintain your account and sessions, create budgets and reports you request, process subscriptions, send transactional messages such as verification, password-reset, and trial notices, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosures
We use Supabase to host application data, Cloudflare to host and secure this website, Google to verify a Google sign-in when you choose that method and to deliver the Nunito and Lexend web fonts on this website, Stripe to process subscription payments and manage billing, and Resend to deliver transactional email. These providers may process technical request information needed to operate their services. We do not store your full payment-card number. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a lawful business transfer.
Retention and deletion
We retain account information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain reasonable security records. You may request account deletion from app Settings. Deleting an account removes associated account data from active systems, subject to limited retention in backups or where law requires otherwise.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; use a unique password and keep access to your account confidential.
Your choices and rights
You can update account information in Settings, manage a paid subscription through the Stripe customer portal, and request privacy assistance at [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will respond to eligible requests as required by applicable law.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and version; current app users will be asked to acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy before continuing to use the application. Contact us at [email protected].
